I have been looking for something that I could use to collect my letdown while I am breastfeeding on the other breast. This one is the best I have used yet. I was able to collect 20 ml each time. I put the collected milk in another container and then used the fridge/pitcher method to collect a larger amount that I plan to put into a freezer stash. I don’t understand the difference between this type of silicone versus other collectors I have tried. I will say that the others I have tried are often described as “liquid”. The “liquid” type of silicone is irritating to my skin. It rests too heavy and tight on my skin and actually encourages engorgement in my breast. Not so for the kindest cup. The type of silicone that the kindest cup uses is the perfect balance between the liquid silicone and the hard plastic flanges. I really like plastic flanges but am unsure how that could be used in this situation. I highly recommend the kindest cup. It is awesome. I love that it has three uses and functions excellently in each of them. This is a great way to pacifly collect milk for storage. Absolutely awesome product.
