Class: Antibiotic Form: Injection Strength: 4.5g Amount: ₦6,000 Description: Ashtaz-p is an intravenous antibacterial combination product consisting of the semisynthetic antibiotic piperacillin sodium and the β-lactamase inhibitor tazobactam sodium. It is used for intravenous administration to treat moderate to severe infections caused by piperacillin-resistant, piperacillin/tazobactam-susceptible, β-lactamase-producing strains of microorganisms.
