Rochelt – Wachauer Marille 70cl Wir beziehen unsere Marillen ausschliesslich aus der Wachau (Niederösterreich), und dabei nur die zwei wertvollsten Sorten. Unsere Obstbauern ernten erst wenn die Marillen selbst vom Baum fallen, orangegelb mit einer intensiven Rötung und vollsaftig bis zum Kern. Nur dann haben sie die Aromenfülle für unseren Qualitätsbrand höchster Güte. Die handverlesenen Marillen werden gereinigt und noch am Tag der Ernte vor Ort eingemaischt. Die natürlich vergorene, zusatzfreie Maische brennen wir nach alter Tradition höchst behutsam zweimal im Kupferkessel. Das gewonnene Herzstück (etwa 15kg Marillen für 1 Liter) lagert danach mindestens sieben Jahre im Dachboden. So wird der Schnaps geschmeidig und mild zugleich dicht und stark, mit einer Fülle an reifen Marillenaromen.
